Engine and Electrics Empty
PostSubject: Engine and Electrics   Engine and Electrics EmptyTue Jul 02, 2019 11:55 am

Hello Everyone, I am enquiring about the engine / electrics spares, ...who to buy from ....?
Im also looking for the Oil Pump.
Is it true they are hard to find.
Who does work on the Atlas bikes , i have heard in the Past that Tom Eatman the Cycle Doctor does work but has he changed location.
What size are the Inlet and exhaust valves ie shaft size and the sealing size in the head ... are the Guides and Valves available.
Are the Cam Chains available....? Is the starter ring gear still being re-manufactured...?
I see the Saches electronic ignition fit ZDG3 . for the 500 fit has anyone else used them.
Is there update alternators for them that can fit to run brighter lighting or does using relays help..?

Kind regards Huey

Damned, there was a post on the forum morte ....

Hi Huey,

Tom Eatman has given up his atelier and has moved, but he's still working in motorcycle business. Contact: https://topspeed.de/about-us/
Sachse ignition: "500" is your box, serveral people do use it.
Head light: the alternator is strong enough, it's the old design of the reflector, if you still have the original mount, first got for a new one.
Parts: Orange Cycle Team (OCT) in Euskirchen (Germany). guides and valves should be available (if needed I could measure the size of the valves).
Cam chains: available from OCT.
Oil pump? Sorry, no idea, ask OCT
Starter ring: please contact Leo Zimmermann in Switzerland , his address is on this side: https://www.laverdaclub.ch/kontakte/kontakte.htm
